Hi,

Sorry, i don't speak spanish. I translated your text with an automatic translator. The result was not clear. But i guess you are trying to use AtomicFE with a something pluged on the Parallale port? May be PC2Jamma ?

I guess you have to install a special driver for your Device. Then , outside Atomic, test it. Check if it works as a "Joystick" or as a "Keyboard".

If it works as a "keyboard" , it should work without problem with Atomic , but May be key code sent are not the "mame" default. In that case, use AtomicKeys.exe to change key configuration.

If it works as a PC "Joystick" , Atomic should support basic function. (browse the list, run a game , etc..)
But if you need more customisation , you will have to use a software like Joy2Key that converts Joystick input as keyboard input.

I hope it helps.

Youki, the LPT interface is a matrix interface that is used in windows as a joystick with his own driver.

But Mamewah has a problem with this interface, it doesn´t work at all although is perfectly recognized by windows.

Thanks Macarro,

If it react as a Joystick , it should at least work to browse and run game in Atomic.

If it is not the case. It is may be because it seems to be purely "numeric" and may be the value sent by the driver for a given position is not enough.

In that one solution could be : Joy2Key that should remap the joystick input to keyboard input. And then it should work with all frontends.

Or with the very last version of Atomic ( version 0.18-1 ) , there is an option called "Analog mode for joystick" . If that option is enabled it could work too. In fact that option is more for analogic Joystick and shouldn't apply in that case. But if the problem is the value sent by the driver , Atomic will be more sensitive if the option is enabled.
