En la mula ya está el pack completo de todas las roms. Yo ya las he metido en la GP y funcionan.

La mayoría de los juegos van lentos. Se puede poner "Sound Off" pero eso no hace ganar velocidad, y también se puede poner el sonido en "no emulated", pero resulta que entonces los juegos no funcionan ¿?¿?¿?

El track and field y el Hyper Sports van algo lentos (los hay que van mucho más lentos), pero aún se pueden jugar.
El frogger va bastante mejor.

Todos los juegos permiten rotar la imagen, y cuando lo hacemos la cruceta se adapta automáticamente.
Los juegos verticales se ven bien sin necesidad de rotar la imagen (es preferible) aunque cortan un poco la imagen por arriba y abajo. Lo bueno es que se puede rotar la imagen sin tener que salir del juego.
Algo que no me gusta es que los juegos no se adaptan a la pantalla, así que casi todos dejan un amplio margen. El "stretch image" no parece estar hecho para la GP32.

Concluyo: que los juegos están muy bien emulados y el emulador se maneja muy bien, pero falla la velocidad. Por cierto, no hay opciones de configuración para ningún juego. Ni Dip switches ni nada de nada.
Para ciertos juegos es preferible recurrir a emuladores de consolas y sus correspondientes conversiones. Todo depende de los gustos de cada uno.

Es que no me suena de nada eso del Centro Mail. Creo que en Sevilla va a ser que no...

Que solo tiene selector de 133 o 166?? Eso no es verdad!!! tiene hasta los 256 en diferentes pasos para quien tenga la gp32 descapada o modificada, asi que tu me diras.

El pack del emule para las roms preparadas esta muy mal hecho. Yo mismo he creado otro pack que encontrareis en en un post titulado "nuevo pack mame" en gp32spain en el que casi funcionan todas las roms.

Es verdad, tiene un rango importante de selección de velocidad, hasta ayer no me di cuenta.
Por cierto, jugar al doom en la gp32 es la leche.

Ya me he bajado el mame y el pack de la mula,jeje, algunos juegos van lentos, pero es cuestión de probar con el sonido , el frame-skip y la velocidad( a la mia se la puede poner hasta 180mhz).

Nueva versión del Mame: 1.1.
Habrá que probarla en breve...

Si,jeje, también hay una actualización del Dr Md,la mayoria de los juegos de megadrive ya van estupendos con sonido.

Noticia copiada de la web oficial de MAME GP32.
En resumen, que hasta que no libere el código fuente, Franxis no puede hacer nuevas versiones de MAME (Y borrar los ficheros de la página para que nadie los baje) hasta que libere el código fuente, lo cual puede llevarle un par de meses.

Bad news, i have been contacted by Haze (MAME Team) to release the source code of my MAME port. This the message I have sent to him:

Hi Haze,

I'm the author of the MAME 0.34 port for GP32 console.

I have been warned by some friends, then i will try to explain my status now:

I'm a 30 years old spanish guy who finished university studies 8 years ago, i'm working in a telecomunications company during this years, but i have not done the last year university end project, then i'm not titled engineer yet, to get this professional qualification i have to finish that end project.

My project is the MAME port for GP32 console. I'm currently writing the documentation of the project. Then I'm not able to release the source code of the port until i have ended the documentation and the project has been aproved.

I think it will take 2 months to get project finished and aproved. I think I have two alternatives:
1. You could give me these two months to end the project and after i will release the source code.
2. If not i could remove the emulator binary from Internet and release again with the source code when i have ended the university project.

Please tell me what do you think about that, and please share this e-mail with interested people.

And this is the answer from Haze in the MAME Official forums:

You should remove the emulator until you are able to release the source.

There is a simple agreement that if you release a binary build of Mame you must post the source, as you are unable to do that at this time then you aren't permitted to post the binary.

And this is another message from him in MAME World forums:

soon isn't good enough. the source must be released with the binary or its an illegal distribution.

i'll check again in a few days, if there is no source the hosting company will be contacted and a request will be made to remove the files.

I have no options. The emulator binary is now removed from this page and i advise other web-pages to remove the binary too. I will distribute the new version of the MAME port and also the source code when i would be able to do it...

Bueno, lo que pasa es que está haciendo el mame de gp32 como proyecto de fin de carrera y hasta que no lo acabe imagino que no pondrá las fuentes.
