AtomicFE can work from a Pentium 1 233Mhz under Windows 95 with DirectX 7 with 32 Mega of memory.
Off course to run on very slow machine, you have to use a very simple layout in a very low resolution. To begin to be able to use simple animated layout a 500-600 Mhz computer is enough. To be confortable in use for almost all effects a 1.2-1.5ghz computer is good. Personnally i have 3 computer with AtomicFe : 1 celeron 533Mhz under XP with 256Mega of RAM 1 AMD ATHLON 2000+ under XP with 256Mega of RAM in my Arcade Cabinet 1 laptop P4 3 GHz under XP with 1Giga of RAM. AtomicFE is very scalable, if you think it is too slow on your machine, contact me on one of Official Support Forums (links are on my website) , and i will help you to configure and optimize. (I only speaks English and French ) |

He leido la info de la última versión y recomiendas un P4 a 2,0 y 512 de RAM (casi nada). |

It just depends on the layout (skin) you uses.
The Default skin need a good computer (i mean about 1ghz or more) But if you change the skin, and use the one provided which is in the folder : <AtomicFe>\layout\atomic_default_for_slow_computer A 300MHz computer will be fine in 640x480 . If then you change the resolution to 320x240 , it will work with a 233 Mhz. |

Youki, I request excuses to speak through a translator, but my English is not very good. It's a brilliant work but… there is form to eliminate the message that appears when exit of frontend, or to at least be able to personalize this screen? Thanks

No problem for the translator. I use one to read spanish too.
Yes, you can remove the Greeting screen or simply put the image you want. To Remove it : add: GREETINGS=NO in each of the config files you use. Or in <atomicfe>\Plugnplay\Global.Cfg if you uses Plugnplay modules. To change the image : Simply put your new image named: Greetings.jpg in the <Atomicfe>\SystemLayout folder. |

One completes question, several emulators like in mamewah can be used, or is single for MAME??
Thanks youki EDIT A curiosity, have you all previews of MAME with videos? Whatever occupies all previews approximately? Editado por RiCCo en 21-feb-2007 a las 21:25. |

You can use all the emulator that works from command line with Atomic , like Mamewah.
You can use also some non-command line emulators too via Wrapper. For novice, AtomicFE has a set of Plug'n play module for about 40 emulators. You have just to install them and copy your roms in the correct folder. see, the "Plug'n play" section of my website. Quote:
